C.O.D. SHIPMENT: All C.O.D. shipments a will require a deposit equal to 10% of the amount of the order (invoice) as a guarantee of your acceptance of the merchandise. All deposits will be credited toward the invoice in question. If the shipment is refused, deposit is non-refundable.

FREIGHT: Freight pre-paid on part orders of $1500 or more, within the following states: TX, OK, AR, LA, NM, AL, GA, TN, KY, KS, MO, NE, IA, IL, MN, WI, VA, NC, SC. Freight pre-paid on part orders of $2000 or more, within the following states: WA, OR, NV, MI. Freight pre-paid on part orders of $2500 or more, within the following states: CA, ID, UT, AZ, MT, WY, CO, ND, SD, IN, OH, WV, PA, NY, VT, NH, ME, MA, RI, CT, NJ, DE, DC, MD, FL.

ROUTING SHIPMENTS: We will honor all customers routings to the best of our ability. Be sure to give your nearest shipping point if you are not located on a truck route. We reserve the right to select the most economical routing for freight shipments.

SIGNING OF FREIGHT BILLS: Modern Ag Parts will not issue credit for any merchandise short if freight bill is signed clear. Example: if freight bill calls for 6 cartons, 1 piece, 2 bundles and 1 pallet totaling 10 items, and you receive only 5 cartons, 1 piece, 2 bundles, and one pallet, totaling 9 items, the freight bill must be signed short on original freight bill. If not signed short, we will not be responsible in any way.

Returns Section

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE: Modern Ag Parts will not be responsible or issue credit on visible damage merchandise by truck line to customer. The customer must sign the freight bill DAMAGED SUBJECT TO INSPECTION. Example: torn open or crushed containers. All merchandise must be shipped back FREIGHT PREPAID and is subject to inspection before credit is issued. Merchandise with cracks in threaded housing is not returnable. Merchandise sold on a discontinued and/or close-out basis is not returnable. The following products will need to be shipped direct to the manufacturer for warranty repairs or replacement: AGRICULTURAL SPRAY PUMPS, ELECTRICAL FENCE CHARGERS, ELECTRIC FUEL AND HERBICIDE PUMPS, ELECTRIC WINCHES, GASOLINE ENGINE PUMPS, HYDRAULIC VALVES AND CYLINDERS. We'll be glad to help you on all returns.

CLAIMS: All shipments made by us are in good order when taken by transportation lines and so receipted. Our responsibility then ceases, but we will be glad to assists you in any to help trace and recover lost goods or collect damages. Examine all cases, barrels, bundles, cartons, etc., and see that they are in good condition before accepting merchandise from transportation company.

RETURNED GOODS: No merchandise may be returned without prior written authorization from Modern. All returned goods must be accompanied with a RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION (RGA FORM), provided to you by Modern. Modern can be fax or email the form to you. All returned goods will carry a 15% restocking fee. ALL REQUESTS FOR RETURN MUST BE WITHIN 15 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF MATERIAL. Shipping errors made by Modern Ag Parts must be reported to us within 15 days upon receipt of order.

SPECIAL ORDERS: Parts that are special ordered are non-returnable. Freight on all special orders is FOB point of origin. LIMITED WARRANTY: Modern, Inc. warrants its parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. This warranty shall not apply to any part in which Modern, Inc. determines to have been subject to misuse or improper installation.

FAQ Section

How does "Truck Freight" shipping work? Due to size or weight some shipment will require “Truck Freight” or LTL. The most economical carrier will be used based on transit coverage to shipping point.

How do I track my order? Contact customer service at 1-888-404-8908 or send us an email thru the website’s tracking menu and we will email the tracking information.

How do I return an item? No merchandise may be returned without prior written authorization from Modern. When will my order ship? Generally orders placed prior to 3pm will ship same day orders after 3pm may not ship until the following day. Orders that must go LTL placed by noon will ship same day order after noon will ship the following day.

What happens if an item is on back-order? If you order an item not currently in stock it will back order and ship at a later date. All back orders will acquire additional freight charges unless original order qualified for pre-paid freight. Customers can call and cancel back orders at anytime.

During checkout, can I use a P.O. Box instead of a physical street address? All orders require a physical street address.

What are the shipping options? All small packages ship via UPS Ground, 3rd Day, 2nd Day, or Overnight. Shipment unable to go UPS due to size or weight will be shipped on most economical LTL carrier.
